Assessibility at Reddish Vale Farm

At Reddish Vale Farm, we are committed to making sure everyone can enjoy a fantastic day out with us.

To help us provide a clearer, fairer, and more consistent way of supporting guests who may require additional assistance, we are working alongside Nimbus Disability and their recognised Access Card Scheme.

This system allows us to better understand individual access requirements, offer essential companion tickets where appropriate, and make the booking process as smooth as possible.

Reddish Vale Farm Digital Access Pass (FREE)

You can apply online through Nimbus for a free Digital Access Pass (DAP) specifically for Reddish Vale Farm.

APPLY HERE

As part of your application, you will need to:

  • Upload relevant supporting evidence

  • Provide a short description of your access requirements

  • Be allocated the appropriate symbols (for example, +1 for an essential companion)

  • Once approved:

  • Your pass will be valid for 3 years

  • You will receive a digital ID number

What is the Access Card?

The Nimbus Access Card is recognised at thousands of venues across the UK.

  • Costs £15 for 3 years

  • Displays symbols that clearly explain the barriers you may face

  • Reduces the need to repeatedly provide personal documentation

  • Can be used at Reddish Vale Farm and many other attractions

You can choose to upgrade to a full Access Card during your application if you wish.

If you already have an Access Card, there is no need to apply again. As long as your card displays a +1 symbol, you can book an Essential Companion ticket.

How to Book Your Tickets Online

Booking your visit is simple:

  1. Add all required tickets to your basket (including your Essential Companion ticket if applicable)

  2. Proceed to checkout as normal

  3. Complete your booking and bring your QR code with you on the day

Please ensure the Access Card or Digital Access Pass used matches the booking

Essential Companion Information

  • The designated Essential Companion must be aged 14 or over

  • A valid Nimbus Access Card or Reddish Vale Farm Digital Access Pass showing a +1 symbol must be presented on arrival

  • If valid proof is not provided, full admission charges will apply

  • We are unable to accept alternative documentation such as DLA, PIP, Carer Cards, or similar

Why are we introducing this system?

  • Working with Nimbus helps us to:

  • Provide a fair and consistent approach for all guests

  • Improve the online booking process for companion tickets

  • Ensure our team understands verified access requirements

  • Protect accessibility provisions from misuse

  • Our commitment to accessibility remains the same — we are simply making the process clearer and easier for everyone
