Alice is a 9 year old Welsh Section a Mare; she is a blue roan and 12 hands high. Alice has now been at Reddish Vale Farm for 3 years. Alice is a uncomplicated pony, easy to handle, with very good stable manners and enjoys her walkout lessons on a Saturday morning with all her regular riders.
Bailey is a 9 year old, tri coloured gelding, he is 14.1 hands high. When Bailey first came to Reddish Vale farm he could not cope with how busy we are, but since then Bailey has calmed down a lot and now enjoys his Saturday walkout lessons and Intermediate Ménage lessons.
Bay Simba is a Welsh Section B; he is a 14 year old bay gelding and 12.3 hands high. Simba has been at Reddish Vale Farm now for 7 years and enjoys his Saturday walkout lessons with his regular riders. Simba is a quite forward going and is used with our more advanced ménage lessons.
Buttons is a Welsh Section A grey mare, Buttons is 14 years old and 12 hands high. Buttons is referred to as “the little white princess” and all the children enjoy riding Buttons on Saturday walkouts.
Bonny is a welsh section A grey mare, she is 9 years old and is 12 hands high. Bonny has now been at Reddish Vale Farm for 4 years and has helped many children learn to ride, Bonny is used on the Saturday walkout lessons and also goes into the ménage and helps the younger children how to ride.
Brin is a 10 year old, New Forest bay gelding and is 14.1 hands high. Brin has been at Reddish Vale Farm for 10 years now. Brin enjoys doing his Saturday walkout lessons with his regular riders and he also enjoys teaching the adults how to ride on a Sunday afternoon.
Chester is a 13 hands high chestnut gelding, he is 20 years old. He has been at Reddish Vale Farm now for 4 years. Chester is one of our forward going horses so is only used on Saturday walkouts and Sunday ménage lessons for the more experienced children.
Dolly is a Welsh Section D black mare; she is 14.2 hands high and 7 years old. Dolly has been at Reddish Vale Farm since 2008. Dolly is well mannered, and well loving character that has beautiful flowing paces would excel in Preliminary and novice dressage.
Copper is a chestnut 19 year old gelding, he is 12 hands high. Copper has been at Reddish Vale farm now for 12 years and is one of our most popular ponies. Copper
was Rebecca Dillon’s second show pony and has hunted and has done cross country although he can be lazy at times.
Dennis is a 14.2, 8 year old Connermara pony. He has been at Reddish Vale Farm for about 4 years. He excels in Show jumping and Cross Country and is regularly competed by our Yard manager Kate. However Dennis remains quiet enough for all levels of riders to progress.
Domino is a 6 year old Welsh cross gelding; he is grey in colour and stands at 13.2 hands high. Domino is used with out beginner ménage children as he has patience of a virtue. He has been at Reddish Vale Farm for 4 years now.
Ebony is a 7 year old black mare that is 12.3 hands high. Ebony enjoys doing Saturday morning lessons with her regular riders. Ebony also gets used in some of the more advanced ménage lessons with the younger children.
Fell is a 14.2hh, 16 year old Fell pony, she is your ideal riding school horse, she carries the youngest children to the oldest adults who ride with us. Fell has basic jumping ability but when the more experienced riders ride her flies the jumps with her eyes shut !
Flynn is 12.2 hands high welsh mountain pony. Flynn is the number 1 escapee artist, along with his best friends White Simba and Rusty, who can all escape from any size holes in the fence. Flynn is used on walkout lessons and children's beginner lessons in the menage.
Fudge is one of our cutest members at Reddish Vale Farm, loved by all. Fudge shares a stable with her best friend Precious seen below and Precious has had a beautiful foal called Tom , who Fudge helps to keep in order as bossy Aunty.
Gurty is everybody's favourite, fantastic riding school horse from beginner to intermediate dressage, has beautiful paces, exceptional paces. Gurty is a big favourite for our adult dressage competitions as she consistently is placed high. Gurty stands at 15 hands and is of a cob type.
Harley is 15.2 hands high and one of the most popular horses (when he can be caught). Harley is used on private lessons to group lessons, from beginner lessons to advanced jumping lessons. You will often see Harley with his best friend Bryn in the field.
Ivory is one of our oldest members of the team. Ivory teaches all children how to ride on walkouts and in the menage. She stands at 12.3 and is a grey mare. Ivory also has a best friend called Ebony who is pictured above.
Kianti is a 12.3hh piebald mare, one of our long standing ponies at Reddish Vale Farm, she is a big hit with our younger clients. Kianti has done it all from show jumping to ridden showing classes and now leads a more laid back life on the farm doing what she does best.
Molly is a 15.2 Cob type coloured mare who is favourite to most adults, as she is willing to put her all into everything. Molly works on the riding school through out the week with the older children and adults, Molly also loves her Monday night jumping lesson !.
Murphy is a chestnut 15.3hh gelding. Murphy is the quiet one, who causes no trouble at all. Murphy has been there and bought the t-shirt, he excels in dressage and back in the day use to compete. However has settled down for a quieter life on the riding school.
Pebbles is the mischievous one, but very clever at the same time. She stands at 13.2hh and a cremello pony. Pebbles works on the riding school on a Saturday doing walkouts teaching the younger children how to ride, then during the week is ridden of f her loaner.
Po is a black gelding standing at 11.1 hands high. Po is one of our rescue ponies, so is still very nervous around humans. Po joined us back in 2005 and from then on has taught many children how to ride. Po enjoys doing his Saturday walkout lessons and Sunday beginner lessons with the children.
Magic is a 14.2 Welsh Section D, Magic is the most recent member of the team, she is used from beginner lessons to advanced lessons . Magic has basic jumping ability and is very well mannered and can be handled by all.
Rupert is a 14hh strawberry roan. Rupert is the one everybody loves to ride.when he isn't having a lazy day ! Rupert enjoys his menage lessons and also loves to jump a small jump. Rupert is well mannered and loves his food !
Rusty is the cheeky one. Rusty is escapee artist number 3 and your always likely to find him somewhere with lots of food. Rusty is 19 years old however still acts like he’s 4. Rusty does Saturday walkouts and also novice menage lessons.
Shertbet is 14.2 hh grey connemara pony. Sherbet is a superstar with every rider small or large. Sherbet excels in show jumping and would jump anything you put in front of her .
Shianne is every bodies favourite, she's been there done that and bought the t shirt. Shianne is 13.1 hh and is used on the Saturday walkouts. In her days Shianne use to do a lot of showing and has come to the riding school for a more quiet life.
Sophie is 17.2, she is the largest horse on the riding school however don’t be put off by her height !. Sophie works on the riding school through out the week teaching the adults how to ride
Star lives up to his name ! Star stands at 13.2 hh and is 8 years old. Star works on the riding school on a Saturday in the menage and on the walkout lessons. Stars enjoys going to lots of shows and is always in the ribbons as you can see !!
Stumpy is the cutest member on the team, Stumpy teaches the youngest of clients how to ride as he is only a shetland pony. Stumpy enjoys doing his Saturday walkouts with his regular riders and going out enjoying the vale with his loaner Emily.
Tia stands at 15.2 and of a cob type. Tia has been with us for around 4 years now and has come on leaps and bounds. Tia teaches children to adults in the menage . If you want a lunge lesson Tia is the one, she's exceptionally good on the lunge to help you with balance.
Tyler is 11.2 hh and is dark bay in colour.. Tyler is used on the Saturday walkouts with the younger children. You will often find Tyler in the field with his best friend Midnight who never leaves his side,
White Simba is escapee artist number 2, as he has the ability to escape from any size hole in the fence., when not escaping Simba loves to snooze in the shade. Simba stands at 11.2 hands high and a cremollo pony with two blue eyes.
William is a 14.2 grey connemara. William is one of the favourite ponies to all the clients teaching the youngest riders to the oldest riders. William excels in jumping and always enjoys his days out to Somerford Park jumping Cross Country fences.
Zack is the baby face, he is 5 years old and stands at 15.1hh. Everybody loves Zack as he is willing and good natured. Zack is a piebald which means he is black and white in colour. Zack is used in the beginner lessons as he boosts up everybody’s confidence.
Ziggy is one of the newest members of the team. Ziggy is quiet enough for the riding school however excels in show jumping with the more experienced riders. Ziggy is 6 years old and of a connemara type.
Midnight is the mischievous one who loves to test everybody's patience . Midnight has been at Reddish Vale Farm for around 10 years and has taught many small children to ride. Midnight stands at 11.2 hh and is a Welsh Section A blue road pony.
