Small Animal Farm

The Small Animal Farm has been set up on the farm to give children an insight in to the countryside environment. The centre has a variety of farmyard animals, including horses, cows, sheep, goats, pigs, a milking cow, a llama, rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks and chickens. We have adult and baby animals living on the farm, depending on the time of year.

The animals can be seen living out in the fields, or taking shelter inside our open viewing pens.

Our friendly staff are always on hand to offer assistance and provide information whenever you may need it.

Other activities

We have a bouncy castle out every day that we are open, and run pony rides every Sunday 1 pm – 3 pm. (Charged at £2.00 each.) We also have tearooms and a gift shop.

We are open 11am – 4pm weekends, school holidays and bank holidays only.

Nearby attractions …

Within a five minute walk of the centre is Reddish Vale Country Park, which provides a vast but safe area in which to walk, run, cycle or ride horses. There is also a butterfly centre, duck pond and fishing areas.

There are full handwashing and toilet facilities available.

Entry to the farm is £3.00 for adults, £2.00 for children and £2.50 for senior citizens. Cash only – unfortunately we cannot accept cheque’s or credit/debit cards.
