2007 saw our first client show, where all the children from our riding School were able to enter. It proved to be a great success and we will certainly be looking forward to doing plenty more. It gave the children a chance to experience something that usually only pony owners are able to participate in.
Jill the Boss!!
Jill has thrown herself into every trade imaginable over the years from hairdresser to Bank Clerk!!! However her ambition was to set up a Riding and Livery Stables and an education facility to give children the opportunity to learn more about animals.
Simon (Jill’s Husband)
Simon had a successful painting firm but has now proved to be a dab hand farmer. He runs the Small Animal Farm on a day to day basis in between building, fencing etc.
Laura the Chief Instructor
Joined the team in 1999 at the young age of 17. Laura quickly progressed to yard manager but has since handed the reins to Kate and has become chief instructor and office staff.
Kate the Yard Manager
Kate joined the team in 2005 and runs the yard on a day to day basis. She’s a pro at any first aid for horses and will answer any of your questions.
Lyndsey Instructor
Lyndsey joined the team in 2006 after a break from Reddish Vale Farm where she kept her ponies for many years. Lyndsey does a lot of the lessons for children, some say she has patience of a saint!
Becky the Yard assistant
Becky first worked at Reddish Vale Farm from 1999 to 2001 before leaving to try her hand at travelling and pharmaceuticals. Becky soon realised her main passion is horses and rejoined the team in 2007.
Corinna: School Visits Coordinator
Corinna has also been at Reddish Vale Farm for many years on and off. She rejoined the team in 2007 and now runs the School visits on the Animal farm.
Mark: Weekend Animal Farm Staff
Mark has worked for us for three and is known as the carrot cutter.
Lewis: Party Coordinator
Lewis joined us in 2007 and quickly took over from Mark the responsibility of Party
Coordinator. Lewis has the job of entertaining and giving the farm tour to all the

Beckii: Has helped on the equine side for the last 6 years. She loans two ponies, Gurty and Chester and owns Star, which she rides every night and on some occasions Jill lets her take the ponies to shows.
Beckii now works on the yard Saturdays and Sundays, takes money for all lessons, and answers all enquires and books parties.
Eleanor: Has helped on the yard for the last 7 years. She loans 3 ponies, Kianti, Midnight and Bailey. Eleanor is in charge of all pony rides on a Sunday as well as working on the yard on a Saturday and Sunday.
Harriott: Has helped on the yard for the past 7 years. She loans 3 horses. Harriott works on the yard at weekends and will answer any of your questions.
